Technology is changing our lives in so many ways. Paper maps? Fuggitaboutit. Navigation has been arguably the best application for pocket sized handheld devices. Need to know a preferred route in a strange place? Google to the rescue, just enter your mode of transportation. Get the Avenza App, linked from the Maps page which overlays on Google maps for roads with paved shoulders and general road conditions. NiagaraCycling will continue to strive to be the choice for Bicycling Information in Niagara reaching out to visiting bicycle tourists and seasoned local riders as well.

Maps and route information are the most sought items and Niagaracycling will endeavour to provide the most complete and accurate collection possible.  Look here also for Niagara Cycling Clubs, Bike Shops, Alerts, Ferry Info (Very Useful Info) and Events. Lockdowns, closures and construction will be with us through the 2022 cycling season. Contact bicycle shops before you visit for their current opening status.

Official opening Oct 1, 2022 :  It is done, the Millennium Trail is finished!  It only took 24 years from inception to completion, but as of Oct 1st people will be able to cycle or walk alongside the Ontario Power Hydro Canal from Chippawa Parkway to the Niagara River Trail. Improvements are still in the works, such as a trail crossing of Hwy 420 and a secondary access to the north side of Lundys Lane. Soon the City of Niagara Falls can lay claim to a circle route within the city. Thanks to all who made this possible.

The activities of the Regional Niagara Bicycling Committee (RNBC) have been replaced by the Region’s Active Transportation Sub-Committee. NiagaraCycling will deliver more diverse information than RNBC ever could.

Sit back and explore what we have to offer.  Feel free to offer suggestions to improve NiagaraCycling and make it even better!
